Problem Statement
Users should be able to understand the product and order with ease.
They have difficulty understanding the concept
"What is the product",
"how do we use it",
"how to order a Smartphoto",
"why is this photo so expensive",
"why not send the videos directly on Whatsapp"
Qualitative Research
To collect qualitative insights about users’ goals, needs, frustrations and motivations, I conducted surveys and user interviews with 2 users’ ranging from the age group 18 to 30.

Takeaway
After conducting interviews, I summarised my findings as follows:

Pain Points
Every user found it hard to understand the concept of how it works and How to see the video


Change photo option doesnt let the user to change the photo but add a new photo - web app interface
Issues with showing the price in $ .User dont want to go outside of the website for checking the price.

Findings
There has been no clear way to explain whats smart photo is in the current customer journey .It says whats smart photo can do to their memories but not how and why is it different.



There has been few UI issues where in change photo is common for both video and photo .

Frequently asked questions about the product is missing

Certain UI elements in change photo section are having bugs and information Architecure for letting users edit the photo the way they want is missing .
Details about the paper and dimensions of the paper were
missing .



Gift wrap option would be great .since its a tangible gift.



More personilised editing feautres like cropping and adding
different music to the photos .



Inconsitency in the logo for the mobile app and web
Adding Whatsapp integeration :
Integerating whats app into the flow will disrupt the exisitng
user flow. And whats app compress the video according the
devices. Since most users have smartphones ,its better to use
the videos inside the phone .Which will not break the flow and
having this explained in FAQ would solve the user confusion.

Few UI Fixes to the exisitng payment flow would solve the issues with the current payment flow

More personlised feautres like crop the photo and adding different music with provided library by homigoes would give more freedom to users as if they create something new

We spending most of the time clicking pictures in cameras .
Most of them are going digital .There a no tangible and physcial experience with this .We came from keeping memories as wall photos and albums. working on a problem related to it and finding a solution such that nothing else in the process is compromised was very challenging and fun at the same time. Making a difference even at such a basic level affects the overall shopping experience greatly.
I also wanted to challenge myself further by completing the project in as little time as I could and keep the UI design as simple as I can.

In-depth user analysis and design testing need to be conducted to refine and validate the solution.

Working on Homingoes companion app .Since 60% of users these days come from mobile .Its better to improve and add
feautres to the mobile app.
